I was commissioned as a Southwark Pastoral Auxiliary in 2001 and I am involved in lay pastoral ministry within my local church. I worked as Spiritual Care Co-ordinator with Marie Curie Hospice in Caterham from 2005 until its closure in March 2009. I joined St Catherine’s Hospice in April 2009 (half time post) working with Mike Nevill where the focus of my work is developing Spiritual Care in the community.
Married to Allan for 33 years, I have two sons James serving in the RAF and Giles who is a chartered surveyor.
I have many interests including cake decorating which I used to teach. Last year I made and decorated my eldest son’s wedding cake.
I belong to the RHS, keen gardener. National Trust, and RSPB, enjoying combining bird watching and walking. If I had a more time I would do a little more water colour painting, a bit of a lapsed hobby.
